It all started as a crazy idea in my head. I have always been very dedicated to my studies and while working full time as an administrative assistant, I was looking to learn new things. In my spare time, I took several makeup courses, which sparked my passion for art. Then, in a small space at my brother's house, I started working as a part-time professional makeup artist.

 

However, life changed dramatically for us when my father suffered three strokes. From that moment on, our lives were completely transformed. What was once a stable routine became a constant challenge, facing daily uncertainties and trials. Seeing a loved one go through something so devastating made us reevaluate our priorities, adapt to a new reality, and discover a strength we didn’t know we had. Despite the pain, this process reminded us of the value of each moment and the importance of being present.

 

After my father passed away, it made me think about whether I was really where I wanted to be. I discovered that

In the field of beauty, that was what I was passionate about. Then I began to observe the needs of my clients, and I discovered that they placed a lot of importance on having well-groomed eyebrows.

That's when I started researching eyebrow waxing and opened a new path to hair removal.

 

The pandemic arrived and in several conversations with friends, they made me see my great potential. So I made the decision to quit my job to dedicate myself to my business full-time. I specialized in waxing and, later, in micropigmentation. That's how this whole adventure and my passion to get ahead began.

 

D'Lavelle Studio marked a new beginning. It comes from the French word "Lavelle" which means "soul". I have always been fascinated by this word, especially since my father was the life of every gathering, and people say I resemble him. For this reason, I feel that the word "Lavelle" has stuck in my mind, in addition to my obsession with French and how elegant it sounds.
